Our Supervisors

  • Angela Gilmour, LCSW, Founder and Clinical Supervisor

I really value helping raise up the next generation of therapists. I have 29 years in the field, have been in private practice since 2011, have been supervising MSWs since 2019 and am a Board Approved Supervisor. I really care about my Supervisees and spend a lot of time with them to make sure they feel seen and well-equipped. I believe the future of Mental Health will include a holistic approach that is Trauma Trained. I work hard to integrate evidence-based practices with faith. I love working at the Wellness Center with practioners that include Massage Therapists, Integrative Health, & Life Coach, and a Revelation Wellness Instructor. I really love the work of Adam Young, Curt Thompson, and Dan Allender. I am fascinated by MBTI, Enneagram, Story Work, and Attachment Science.

  • Joy Koeppen, LCSW, CBIS, Clinical Supervisor

I have worked in a variety of settings including health care facilities, schools, a disability rehabilitation/recovery non-profit, and private practice.  My primary work has been with individuals with chronic illness, family caregivers and others who are impacted by major life transitions.  As a result, I have a great deal of clinical experience and subject matter expertise to pass along to those wishing to become licensed as clinical social workers.   In addition to my own experience as a therapist, I have provided clinical supervision to both individuals and groups and am a current registered supervisor in the State of Virginia.
